Nikolai Borisovich Kishilov was an art restorer and icon specialist who worked with the Moscow Kremlin restoration team and the Tretyakov Gallery. He also authored articles on ancient Russian iconography and was a friend to dissidents before emigrating to France, where he passed away shortly after arrival.
