Originally from Ottawa, Dr. Michael Silva earned a BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Carleton University before completing his DDS and MSc in Periodontology at the University of Toronto. His research explored the factors contributing to early and late dental implant failure. Dr. Silva is board-certified in Periodontics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
