Nikolay Nikolaevich Pivovarov

Dr. Nikolay Nikolaevich Pivovarov is a Doctor of Medical Sciences and a professor of ophthalmology. He has extensive experience in treating glaucoma and retinal detachment, and was head of the artificial lens and cataract department at S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex. He is credited with the "Pivovarov scleroplasty" operation for myopia and co-developed silicone implants for retinal detachment. He practices at ARS Medica clinic in Rome.
